A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Wayne County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's own policy controls its handling.
If you send an email or contact message, we keep the details needed to read and answer it. We do not share that message outside the organization unless doing so is required by law.
Technical Data and Cookies
Routine technical information can be recorded automatically when a page loads. This helps operate and maintain the site.

Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify the request, a person may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. These requests do not control records held by Wayne County, ODRC, a court, or a search provider.
Notice Updates
This privacy notice may change when site practices or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date. Effective July 31, 2026.
